Default Luger S 42 1937- question

Here is the Luger S 42 1937 fully matching, except for mag. that I was trying to sell. One of the potential buyers was the other Luger forum member. We had a little dispute over the price; the deal is off and what I really would like to do is find out the approximate value of this Luger.
All comments appreciated.
Regards,
Kris

Kris:

Would you mind informing us from who you purchased your 1936 & 1937 Luger's and when?

Default luger

hello Mauser George
Both Lugers I have aquired from veterans(both came to my friends store while I lived in NJ)You could call it "first hand".Lugervern when you look closer where the lines are you can still see machining circles and as you stated the pictures are deceiving but there is no one edge on this gun that is not sharp.I in few minutes will add pics .Regards ris

Hi Kris, Your 1st variation 1937 S/42 looks nicer in your latest photos. I am raising my estimate to $2,000.00. Regards, Norm

What would those odd frame cuts on the #413 luger be for?

I have seen this mistake before, while sanding or using a file on the left side of the frame the tool went over too far and cut the right side.

I still stand by my comment.
