Thanks much, I would need to see full size pictures, those thumbnails are too much for my tired old eyes. What are the asking for it? Year of manufacture? What does the written description say that would propably accompany the advertisement? Thank you!

I'm not an expert (just a dummy), but that site requires registration. Quite a few of the REAL experts here work for a living <gasp!> and their employers rigidly control their at-work Internet access. (They block access to many weapons sites). To properly address your questions, you would need to copy the pics posted there to your PC and then post them here (not just link them), plus post the description.

Hope that helps...and doesn't discourage you...

Are you seriously contemplating buying that one??? Or just looking for opinions??? (Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Just looking to learn more really. And I thought you guys might be interested. I can't afford it right now but this guy, ramon, seems to be selling some very nice stuff now and then.

Bargains (and diamonds!) turn up in the most out-of-the-way places...Personally, I have 7 pages of usernames and passwords for sites/Forums/companies that I have visited...and my list keeps growing...

If this is a site you are a member of, does this Ramon post on GB/AA/GA or have a web site with his wares on it??? If so, post his username or site URL...

Or post the pics!!! Most of us are off today...

This is his entire add. I don't know if he list elsewhere.
He is in central North Carolina.
It might be worth joining the forum just to talk to him about his luger.

WTS: Luger, 9mm 4" barrel S42 pistol with matching holster and magazine.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am offering for sale an excellent matching example of the Mauser made and 1939 S/42 marked Luger pistol. It is accompanied by its original holster, a number matching magazine, the spare unnumbered magazine that was with the pistol. There is also the take down, magazine loading tool as well.

The condition of the pistol is excellent. There is holster wear on the left side of the barrel approximately within 2 inches of the muzzle. Every part that bears a number is all matching. The bore is excellent.

All in all, the pistol needs to be seen in the hand to appreciate its overall quality.

I am asking $1900 for this entire rig. I will consider serious offers as well.

At least I did not see anything suspicious from those 3 pix. So far so good. One magazine matches, no pix?

Doesn't this seem like a really good deal? If I could find one of these in good shape with a Matching mag and holster, I would be very interested....the pricing I see for similar setups (if legit) seems to be a lot closer to $3000....?

I would love to hear some thoughts of the experts on this board too....thanks
