1913 dwm
Just acquired 1913 DWM serial #4012 (b) with stock lug, matching, 95%+, very good straw, very good grips, excellent bore, barrel BO26 marked, very good wood bottom, unmarked mag.

Hey Bill,
That is a nice 1913. You weren't kidding were you? Glad you ended up with it. Ron

It really is better than my poor photos. It has very little wear and not what shows in the pictures. Just some muzzle wear, little on rails and sideplate. Bill

Bill, thanks for sharing your beauty with us. Your 1913 DWM has the very rare acceptance mark G. Early 1913 has LLF followed by XQF.
If possible I would like to see a closeup photo of the acceptance marks. Thanks again and best to you Klaus |

1913 dwm
Klaus, Hope this is okay. Is this a "B" or a "G". I have trouble with them. Thanks.

Hi Bill!
Great looking 1913, I also have a fondness for '13 guns. Mine is older brother 5354 b, also Bo26 marked. It is proofed XQF. Mike

Bill,
A really super gun. Outstanding condition and a 1913 with stock lug is a tough Luger to find. I haven't located one yet, but I have it's commercial counterpart...the so-called 1914 Commercial, #73650, that was actually made in 1913 and contemporary with your military piece. We should get them together and see if they make puppies.

Bill, thanks for the photo. The letter is a G. I found the same acceptance stamps an only 2 other 1914 dated Lugers. Best regards Klaus

Thanks. I have 1914 Commercial #72353, not in great shape 85% or so. It has a 1920 Permissive stamp on the chamber , commercial and military serial number placement and a circle S on left front receiver. It was brought back by my father-in law during WW2. I appreciate your knowledge and your sharing of it. Would love to see a litter. Regards Bill

My mistake. I was thinking the stock lug started at 6000 b instead of 4000 b. Just another senior moment. Bill

Here's one I picked up this past Spring that's a bit later but also manufactured without hold-open or stock lug.
