Default ? re Connolly Leather care products

Since Connolly Leather company ceased trading in 2002, has some other company taken over the products?

I see that the products are available from some dealers online, etc but I was wondering if they were end of line.

I would like to know who is manufacturing the products now if at all.

Best Regards

I recently purchased a kit on eBay. It says it is mfg under license by HIDE CARE LIMITED.

Cleaner and Hide Care plus application cloths and pads for 50 USD. I believe that included shipping from Florida, USA.

The address for the Leather Cleaner is given as:
Rich House, Crimscott Street London SEI 5TE

The address for the Hide Care is given as:
Unit 13, 33 Rushworth Street London SEI 0RB

both have the phone number as 0208 879 7333
and email as sales@hidecare.co.uk

I hope this helps you.

You can put in Hide Care in google and it wll come up, also on ebay.

Dale, I have never used the "cleaner" have you found it helps a lot or ??

I always just use the hide food (old name) and it worked well at cleaning and preserving.

My Kit came with a 500ml bottle. It is a concentrate mixed at one part cleaner to 12 parts water. It works good on my leather goods. For me, it'll last a long long time. What you don't use should store just fine. Jaguar, MB and others use the cleaner for their car interior leathers. None of my Leather WWI and WWII era holsters have really needed to be "cleaned", IMO. I keep my collection looking as close to how I received them as I can. I just want to protect the leather as long as I can.

As you are, I am not the last owner of my collection, I am only the current care giver to both my Pistoles and their Leathers.

However, the instructions do caution you to avoid contact with your skin.

I guess you shouldn't sit on Jaguar or MB seats wearing shorts
