My source book says a 1936 military S/42 should have a straw colored extractor. It this correct?

Bob,
Welcome to the Forum. Not correct. The extractors of all German military P08s are blued. Could you tell us which source book you are using? --Dwight |

Checked the book again and he calls it an ejector which I read to be the same as the extractor.

Bob,
In this case Davis is correct, the ejector of all P08s are strawed until the middle of 1937 production. However, you might find the post at this link enlightening http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthre...ghlight=aarron --Dwight |
