I have a 1915 DWM, the s/n is 84h. I was reading Imperial Lugers and the comment in the book stated that only one or two serial numbers are reported in the h, i, k and l letter blocks and these suffix blocks may have been only partially filled.
I'm trying to figure out if he means that it's hard to find Lugers in the h, i, k or l letter blocks or if they only had one or two didgit s/n's. ![]() Thanks, Brent B. |

Brent,
I suggest that you ask Jan Still yourself on his website: luger.gunboards.com/ KFS |

Brent,
He means that only one or two have been reported in each letter block. 1 or 2 in the h block, 1 or 2 in the i block, etc. Ron

Karl & Ron, thanks for your replies. It was one of those things where I just couldn't make heads or tails of. I'll blame it on being a Monday. Thanks

I think Jan is also raising the possibility that some of these suffix blocks did not have 9,999 Lugers manufactured.
