Can anyone id this holster:
![]() Markings looks like "dlv 42" and "Waa279". It carries a Sauer 38H. Thanks for any help, Jack

Jack - WaA 279 Manufacturer - dlu - Ewald Lunenschloss - dtu - G.J. Ensink - dtv - C. Otto Gehrckens. Your holster could also be for a PP. It is pictured in Military Holsters of WW2 by Eugene Bender on page 91. I also have the same holster and it fits my 38-H perfect. Hope this helps.

A generic holster used for which ever pistol will fit. 1914 or 34 Mauser, Sauer 38 , etc. Ron
