I have a unit marked 1908 DWM with matching s/n's. I broke it down and was looking at the firing pin and noticed it wasn't numbered but I didn't take it out of the breechblock to check. Was if common for them not to be numbered? Thanks, Brent B.

You did not say if your Unit Marks were pre or post WWI or what year of production your gun was, very early DWMâ??s are a study to themselves, and post WWI new production is different. A little more information may be needed to properly answer your question. Also take the pin out and check for sure. Do a search on the forum, good information here on firing pin serialization. Let us know if you still need help? Vern |
