Default Disassembly guide.

New man here. First Luger. 1911/ Mismatched barrel/ Reblueded/ Non-matching magazine/. I need to tighten up the safety lever.. I need a pictoral dissaembly guide on line if there is a good one that ya'll could recommend. Should I invest in a go/no go gauge?
thanks

2 pages here :

Also, check out the Technical Info. section at the left side of the Luer Forum homepage...you will see links to some expoloded-view diagrams with parts numbered and named...as well as a take-down tutorial.

Here is a video of a luger being field stripped.

luger video

I made another video shows how to put it back together. There are 15 Luger videos in all if you click on "more from this user".

Hope this helps,

Chris

Holding the gun upside-down when you slide off and replace the receiver on the frame helps the little s-link coupling fall right into place...in the rear frame well.
