Default Stoeger Luger Holster

I just bought a Stoeger Luger holster at a gun show. From the condition, I'm assuming it's not that old--perhaps for the bring-back market. I'm also assuming that they only made one kind of holster, but I know nothing about commercial holsters. Can anyone tell me anything about it? thanks--Larry

I'm definitely not a holster expert, but I would assume that there were holsters made for the Stoeger imports from the 1920's. There are also holsters made for the 1970,s Stoeger Luger 22 cal., that fit older lugers as well.
I'm sure if you would post pics. of it, the experts can tell which one you have.

I bought this as a carry holster for my shooter. I'm pleased with it but would like to know a little more about it. Thanks. Larry

If you can get your hands on the big book about Luger holsters by Eugene Bender, he dedicates several pages to this company and its history with some photos of holsters and other Stoeger offerings.
