Default Hold Open Latch

Is this a normally "numbered" part.

What are the steps to remove and replace the Holdopen latch.
ie
How can I "DO it"

I have an Erfurt that has had the holdopen latch removed.
I HAVE the part
The "Spring" appears to be a home made job ( very flimsy )

Default Also ( re: holdopen Latch )

I have a 1940 "42" that:
"Locks open" on a "Not yet empty" magazine
Sometimes
{ ~ once every other magazine full (= 5 cartridges)}

A "quick tug" on the toggel sets everything straight again.

What's with that?

How can I remedy it ??
