A friend of mine has bought a 1936 S/42 All matching Luger. I have no pics but he has told me the following. It has over 90% original finish. And has a Matching mag! It works great mechanically and it's overall condition is pretty good. He has also said the guy he bought it off has the original holster and POSSIBLY another matching mag. When/if he finds it he will give it to him of no charge as that was part of the deal.
The gentleman who owns it is not yet willing to sell it, but says he most likely will in the near future. I know it's hard to say without pictures. But what would a Luger of this nature be worth? And what would it be worth the the original holster and 2nd Matching mag?? |

Rylan,
Be very sceptical of the matching mags unless you have the knowledge yourself to positively recognize one, or know an experienced collector who does. Magazine renumbering has been going on since the end of WWII (at least), and one can fairly estimate that ninety-five percent of matching magazines seen today are not authentic. --Dwight |
