I was in a downtown gun shop this afternoon asking "what's new" when they pulled out a pristine Mark IV Webley. Not a mark on it. I asked, they said, and $400 later it was mine.
It's one of the (rare I think) ones with a safety at the top rear of the frame behind the hammer (a bar through the frame). If anyone has any info on the scarcity of this model with a safety or an opinion as to how I did price-wise, I'd like to hear it.

David,
FOr "pristine" you did better than okay I think. These little Webs are a hoot to shoot and they are getting harder to find in really nice shape. Goingbroker recently listed (which I lost on) an RAF marked Enfield cousin to the piece you have, also mint, for close to $600.00. The days of passing them buy at $200.00 are over from what I see. Really nice ones are bringing a premium. Enjoy it, I do mine. Tim
