Default New Mauser

To be certified, all gun nuts should have at least one Luger, and I finally got mine at the age of 54. I wanted a shooter, so after researching this forum (thanks to all of you) I bought one of the late model commercial Mausers in 9mm, with a 4" barrel. Since I'm no collector, I saved a few hundred by getting one without the box or tools, but it does have two magazines. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it Friday; the trigger isn't too bad at all. I don't like magazine safety's on any gun, but this one isn't bad. I have large-ish hands, so the straight front grip of the swiss style fits me well.

Hopefully all the S&W and Colt revolvers won't gang up on it in the safe tonight.

Thanks to this forum and an old Guns & Ammo, I know how to strip it, and I'm going to buy an inexpensive repro magazine loader off of the 'bay.

Is there anything in particular I should know?

For those who keep track, the serial number is 11.0061xx.

Thanks for any information you can impart.
