Hi Pete,

Thanks. I tried the first avatar. Works great.

Just tried this as a test. I have changed back to my old Imperial Eagle avatar if anyone wants this new one.

Personally, though I like the variety of avatars in use, I prefer the self-photo because it make the communication a little more personal... and you can easily recognise members at gun shows and get-togethers when they happen. I chose the best of both by merging a photo of myself with an image of the Forum patch...

Well, I find it disconcerting seeing myself staring back at me!

So, that is why I use my 1900 AE as my avantarerruy

I think if ones' mug is in the Rogue's Gallery, it is fun to change avatars from time to time.

Plus...like Ed...a bit tiresome "looking in the mirror" when posting...

John D,

That one makes me laugh out loud! That's why I wear a helmet. My hair looks like that

John D.
I just love that photo.

For those who don't know, I work in the prison system, 10 years working in maximum security men's prisons and five years ago, I accepted a transfer to a women's prison, it's a bloody lunatic assylum.

Back to that photo, It's actually the mascot of our unit staff team, an A4 copy of it has hung on the back of the staff dunny door for about the last three years!

Hi Bob,

Hover your mouse cursor over the photo/image you are interested and right click with your mouse...then select "save picture as" and decide what you want to name the file as and where on your hard disk you want it saved...

You might need to resize the photo image a bit so it fits into the Avatar size limits here on the Forum...

If all else fails, let me know which one(s) you like and I can resize and email to you. Send me your email address at "pebbink@pacbell.net"

Regards,

Pete......
