Default Astra 300 Production year ?? ~PHOTOS ADDED~

I have a commercial Astra 300 ser#521741 with an "H" production code.

Can someone give me the year of production? I believe it is 1936?

Thanks! Ron

I am a little late to answer your question but do you have any pictures? I also have an Astra 300 and like Astras in general.

Hi Steve,

It's nothing special. Just a commercial 300 in .380. Chamber marked 9mm/.380. In about 85% condition. The one thing I have noticed is that it's not stamped "SPAIN" as I have seen on other commercial Astras. It came with a spare mag, but no holster. I would really like to find a period holster for it.

It came from the estate of an advanced Luger and HI-Power collector. I bought it, and a Mauser 1934 Scandinavian Police. About 2 years ago.

I have bought Astra parts and holsters from a man in Spain. The 300 holster was very nice. Send an email to:

itziar.vallejo@clientes.euskaltel.es

I found his prices good and the items as described. In fact I am now waiting for two holsters and some magazines to arrive. I had some problems with paypal but those were my fault and not his.

By the way, did you ever catch the weasel that ruined your lunch?
