Default Wrap-Around Grip Safety

Discussion on the "Swiss Lugers" page tells me that "The '29 Swiss grip safety wraps around the rear grip strap, so the grips have to be relieved on both sides." So the Swiss eliminated the potential hand-pincher. Great! I've been looking at the 1900's and '06's and thinking that one would want to practice the technique of getting hold of that grip in the right way.

I've ordered and paid for a 29/70 pattern Mauser Parabellum (AE), but I'm still waiting for New Jersey to issue the permit so I can get the FFL for shipping. Am I going to find the wrap-around grip safety on that pistol? None of the photos I've seen on-line give a clear enough look at that part of the gun.
