Default Jerry Burney

Gentlemen I have just received a luger artillery holster back from jerry. I just wish to post
praise for some of the most unbeleivable workmanship I have seen in the restoration of
these old holsters. I can not say enough about this gentlemans work. Thank you jerry

gunman, I certainly agree with you, he worked on a 1938 Hardshell for me and they work was superb! He MADE a hardshell holster for my baby Luger to my exact specs and it was phenomenal. Super guy too!

Hey Guys,
Jerry is the best leather magician I have ever seen. The old adage
" A silk purse from a sows ear" should be Jerry's moto.
Also, I would like to tell a somewhat embarrassing story as to the character of Ellie and Jerry Burney.

A few months ago, I placed a bid on an ebay item, and won. Being somewhat of a novice at bidding on ebay, and a bit impulsive. I did'nt read and fully understand the payment instructions. The seller , as it turned out,
refused to accept any form of payment except PayPal. I do not use credit cards, so I was stuck.

I had been e-mailing Jerry about some holster work and mentioned my dilema with the ebay "jerk", and I do mean "jerk", to Jerry. I was prepared to get nailed with a negative feedback. And had resigned myself to that. Jerry would'nt hear of it. He and his wife Ellie (who is a sweety) used their PayPal account to pay for the $50 item on my behalf. I inturn paid them by check.

The only way I knew Jerry was through the forum. I have never met either He or Ellie face to face. And they did this not knowing if they would ever hear from me again. All I can say is that the world could use more great people like them.

To Jerry and Ellie. Two outstanding people!!

My Gratitude, Ron

(although he is kind of crotchity, sometimes )

Jerry has done 2 holsters for me and created a between war civilian rig from scratch. I'll keep sending him stuff, until he gets it right (the only thing wrong he does is pricing). Jerry, if you are listening, it's about time to start that 1900 holster. My 1900 AE with Thor is now almost a 4 letter word, so it must be getting close to being done.
