Default Baby Luger

I was looking trough older posts about werle mini luger and Ted had posted a pic of a 7 shot prototype.

I would just like to tell that I less than a year ago saw a orignal baby luger with very short barrel, 6 round magazine and an entirely differnet safety system than the one on the pic.

The safety system on the baby I saw was more like a borchhardt, sliding up and down instead of piwoting.

The gun is now in a very impressive collection of german firearms in a private collection in England.

That is the real baby Luger usually chambered for 32 auto or 380 Auto, the picture was the SSP was Georg Luger's personal carry Luger and only one made by DWM (more made by HUGH CLARK) The Real babies are smaller framed, the GL Luger is a full size frame with shortened butt and barrel. This collection, in Cambridge, England, is the largest - and ultimate Luger collection. It´s a wonder the collector was not forced to hand it in. He has not only collected the world´s most complete range of Parabellum pistols - but also valuable historical documentation. Patrick

It's a great pleasure and honor to see the collection and speak to the owner.

Man, Britian may not be the best place for her if the collection is split up, they fill the barrels with concrete sometimes when they deactivate them! Thor
