Question Two Cartridges

I have had these two cartridges for many years. They are both 9mm luger. I was told the "X" cartridge was for a luger with a silencer! Can anyone confirm that it is. I am not sure what the other one is? Do these have any collector value or they just some old cartridges? Any comments will be appreciated.

Beste GrĂ?¼sse,

Smile

Hallo,
Since I made this post I found the following information in Fred Datig's book, "The Luger Pistol". I thought since there were no replies to the post I would look and see what I could find. Maybe this will be of interest to someone.

Viele GrĂ?¼sse,

How interesting, your post must have slid under the covers!

Sometimes I won't get a reply, and find the info myself, by researching!

Glad you could find the reference. I knew that BESCHUSS was a proof cartridge, but I had no idea what the X designated, and I haven't had time to research it. I would think that both cartridges have collector value. I wouldn't mind having examples. Thanks for the update.
