Damn! That went for $270. Am I missing something or is someone completely nuts?

Oddly enough! Audley holsters are highly collectable. As are H.H. Heiser holsters.

Actually the holster did not sell since the reserve was not met. So $270 was just the highest bid. Simpson's want $500 for a 6" Audley and Mike Morris wants $550 for his 6" Audley. American Luger leather made by Audley, Heiser, Meyers and other early "name brands" are going up in price. Not surprising...take a look at what you have to pay for nice period military Luger holsters. And I don't even want to try to guess what a nice Ideal sholder stock/holster might bring these days.
