Default about clips

as I wrote earlier I asked if my clips were original with black plastic bottoms on clips with rivets through the concave bottoms, I received a few responces an was asked what is the serial#'s which would tell you guys what I have and would give me more info on my new gun.Also one of my clips there is a missing metal stud on on side of clip which helps pull the spring down, should leave it alone or get it repaired an if repaired will it take away from its value. Any info on the gun would be greatly welcomed. BYF/42 serial#30xxH THANK YOU for the help these Lugers are very adictive I want many more.

Taking these magazines with plastic bottoms apart is what the infamous Al Gore would call "risky business". They break easily, and if they have any cracks at all in them, they fall to pieces. Beware!

I thought it was Tom Cruise who starred in 'Risky Business'? Don't tell me Al was a movie star too? ( I know he invented the internet). Don't confuse 'risky business' with 'fuzzy math'.

In the army we generally said magazine, but the M-16 was a clip or magazine and;

1 : a place where goods or supplies are stored : WAREHOUSE

2 : a room in which powder and other explosives are kept in a fort or a ship

3 : the contents of a magazine: as a : an accumulation of munitions of war b : a stock of provisions or goods

â?¦5 : a supply chamber: as a : a holder in or on a gun for cartridges to be fed into the gun chamber

Merriam-Webster

Main Entry: 2clip

Function: noun, Date: 15th century

Cambridge Dictionary of American English

magazine (GUN PART)

So, those poor souls walking in and saying clip, their English teachers can't all be wrong,

66,

The TM for the M16A1 calls it a Magazine Assembly, and the magazine assembly is loaded from a Stripper Clip. The magazine is loaded from the stripper clip with the aid of a Stripper Clip Guide.

Is that something like a back azimuth? Intersection, resection, and polar coordinates will be coming up soon.
