Default Cz 27 questions.

I have seen two in my time. I had one on layaway about 2 years ago but chose to buy a Walter ppk instead. The one I had on layaway was all original with about 70% finish left, but it looked like it had some proofs, and lettering machined off the top of the slide. I think I may want to pick one up, but I have no clue what to look for.

Do you mind taking a picture of the top of the slide? I see a lot of these but they look like they have been through the ringer. How much did you pick these up for if you don't mind me asking. Thanks again

The prewar pistols have "Ceska Zbrojovka, Prague" on the top of the slide. Pistols manufactured under German occupation are marked "Bohmische Waffenfabrik, A.G. IN Prag" and the last ditch pistols have the rib ground down and only a serial number near the back sight.

Since Alanint posted the websites for the CZ27's, do you still want pics of the topside of slides?

The early Commercial was $125, that was about 20 years ago. The early nazi was $450, that was last year at Tulsa. Probably paid too much for that one but I had been looking for one for a long time.

There is a good thread on the P.38 forum on CZ27s. It has lots of photos of the variations.

Thanks for the offer no need since that website was posted. 450 is about what I am seeing them go for. Thanks again.
