OT - Any P38 fans?

Hello group,

Is there a corresponding site for P38 fan(atic)'s ?

I saw one in the case at a local shop, part of an estate. I spoke with one of the counter guys at length about it.

It had marble swirls in the plastic-like grips. Mag looked like a repro. The bluing was perfect, not even the feed ramp was rubbed, bbl spotless.

He and I would have guessed re-blue, but his contention was that since all the proof marks were extremely sharp - this was not a re-blue job.

Oh yeah, under 400 bucks - they don't do military stuff (wheel guns and current autos)

Any comments?
