Depends on what you mean. If you want a picture like I have on the left, then you need to go to "My Profile", then "View/Update Profile" then "Select a different Avatar Image" then either select your different image or point to where your image is stored. Mine is at my ISP.
Ed You also place a pointer to your ISP and have the pciture in your signature, but remember if you do that, it must be no larger than the photo you see on the left, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Didn't work. I have an image stored with an image host on the web and have the complete URL typed correctly into the area for my picture in the "My Profile" area. ??

Good looking chap. Kinda big though. Let's see if I can attach a reduced image that you can copy and use.

Hey guys,
The guy to the left there is Gefreiter Matthaus Hetzenauer, eine Scharfschutze des Heers. He was Nazi Germany's top sniper with 345 confirmed kills. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 17. 4. 45. He looks like he enjoyed his profession. I am a long time Third Reich collector and recently (three years ago) started collecting WW2 German guns. About a year back I picked up a rather nice BYF 42 Luger rig, the one we Americans call the "Black Widow". It still retains a good 99% original salt black finish. All matching, no runs, chips or errors. I'll post some detailed pics if you'd like. I'd like to buy another Luger in the near future, either Nazi or Imperial. The black plastic grips are nice but I prefer wood. I used to fly airplanes commercially for a small company in South Dakota, charters, air ambulance, air taxi ect. Now I just fly for fun and give flight lessons now and then. Sure like Lugers! |

Hi Flug,
welcome to the forum. Is the sniper that you pictured the German sharpshooter that engaged in the almost Olympic class shootout with the top Russian sniper in Stalingrad during the war? I though that this was the German ace and instructor in the German sniper school. We are always interested in pictures of Lugers on the forum. Personally, I like the Imperial era Lugers, particularly the navies and the artilleries. But once in a while I stray and buy a Nazi era Luger. Big Norm |
