I've been warned against dry firing a luger pistol due to the old firing pin possibly being brittle. that being the case, how should I decock it?

Vern, pull the toggle up until it just breaks. Then pull and hold the trigger as you gently let the toggle go bact to battery. Kinda like a Mauser rifle.
