Default Cover-plate

Help!

i need for my Mauser K-date (Nr.: 5057 s) a cover-plate with the end-number 57. In Germany it's very difficult to get an original. Where can i get one and what does it cost?

Many greetings from Germany. Dieter

Dear Dieter,

I would suggest you contact Tom Heller www.hellerarms.com>, a frequent poster on this forum, and the largest supplier of Luger parts in the US. He often has original numbered parts for sale.

Your K-date Luger has a very distinct style of numbers at this early production. I think you're going to have to find an K-date or an early G-date to get the right style of numbers. If you look for shooters on all the gun auctions, or contact some dealers on their shooters, you will probably find one fairly fast. Just a suggestion.
