Date stamp on holster

I am looking for a 1938 dated holster to go with my S/42 1938 Luger. I am looking at one that has EG Leuner.. 1938.. Bautzn.
All in a oval circle. There is no waffen mark. I have very limited knowledge about Lugers and their holsters. Should a 1938 dated holster have the waffen mark?

Bill,

A 1938 Luger holster by E.G. Leuner, should have WaA159 on it as well.
