Once again the entertainment media has tied our interests to the dark side. On a recent re-run of the TV show "Grimm" the bad guy, a non-human assassin uses a Luger with a silencer. Excellent footage with the Luger being fired and close-ups of the pistol and silencer.
With a German accent, the villain uses the Latin saying Si vis pacem, para bellum, "If you want peace, prepare for war." If there is an interest, the story is in Grimm's Season 1, Episode 18, "Cat and Mouse." |

Dick,
I've watched a few Grimm shows. Decent production, lots of imagination in creating faux mythical creatures and plots, so I could at least put up with it--it was my girlfriend's choice to watch. Without her, no. I tend to lose interest in shows that center around supernatural twaddle, unless there is some other redeeming feature. There was another series about a telekinetic girl and her dad, which was sort of fun for a while, but it never had any Lugers!
