Ok guys I picked up a commercial Zella-Mehlis PPK a while back for $600 and was wanting to know a little more about it. It has a great bore but the slide had some pitting and discoloration (possible touch up blue) I figured for the price it would make a good shooter. Any info (date, etc) would be much appreciated!

The best I can offer is it's a commercial pre-1945 pistol, I believe, but I'm certainly no RKI.
Check on the P.38 forum, though, for something far more definitive though. The Walther PP/PPk guru is Dieter Marschall. HTH |
