Just picked up a loading tool off eBay, WW1, crown marked for $56.
Can anyone tell me what would the difference be between my one and one that has an asking price of over say $200. Assuming mine is not a fake??!! |

Well, sometimes you get lucky and things are sold way under their market value.
Last year I bought a very nice, all original Imperial military C96 for about $700. Just because nobody else bid on it. It happens. |

I have noticed lately that WW1 Luger loading tools have reached some high prices..I can't explain this one for instance but it's not the only one.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WW1-German-L...vip=true&rt=nc And here is a link to your $56 tool http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Ger...p2047675.l2557

It is authentic- it is the most often seen Imperial tool.
Some Imperial tools seem to be so rare that one can find 50 Krieghoff tools before one can find a C/N or C/G with the 4 lobe crown. |

Loading tool arrived today and was shocked at how small these things actually are. Suppose should have been expecting this due the size of the pouch in my holster but still a suprise. Still amazed these little things go for we'll over $300!!

Yes, I just received one the other day in the mail and my wife said, "You paid what for that little thing?!?"

Luckily, her reply was in jest. I collect all kinds of WWII German stuff so she's used to me bringing home things that seem trivial for the money.

Here we go again. Incredible. Am I missing something here? Or is this type of tool really worth this much??
