Does anyone know the dates Erfurt lugers were made? I see one advertised as a 1940 Erfurt. I didn't think they made them after WW I. Thanks.

You are correct, a 1940 Erfurt would be very entertaining

It is listed on Gun Brokers. Sorry I didn't write down the item #.

Well, there are two Erfurt Lugers currently listed on www.gunbroker.com with incorrect dates of manufacture. The "1940 Erfurt" is listing #166742199 and a 1939 Erfurt is #166637210.
