We always hear......."Gee, if this gun could only talk"
This commercial luger 86099 was brought back from Mexico by a young Mexican-American who had been given the gun by his grandpa. It is .30 cal which is legal down there. [Mil. calibers are not] The grips are hand made of bone. Condition is "NRA Ugly" The mag that came with it had a home made brass base and was so ugly I could not bring myself to leave it with the gun. I don't have a clue what/who/why the BERLIN is engraved on it. I guess I could make up a story and ask a million dollars for it? The Shadow http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/86099.jpg |

This gun was once the property of Pvt. Irving Berlin, and was a bring back. Unfortunately he had to sell it, because in his early days as a song writer he was having a hard time making ends meet. Just thought you should know that.
