looks like a dog to my own heart. I am sure he was "soft-mouthing" it, as dogs do when they are holding something teasured

One of my dogs from a Christmas years back....
She has a Luger with a drum mag, and an AR-15 too.
She is a serious guard dog, (even though she is wearing her Christmas antlers.)

In my previous job I sendt a schaefer, a normaly well trained patrol dog, out to search for a brand new Glock P80.
I ran into the forest where it was hidden, but didn't come back.. It's amazing what damage 10 minutes of chewing can do! ..would not take my chances with a Luger

Found this on the 'net:

No matter where you stand on the question of gun ownership, maybe we can all agree that giving guns to animals is taking the Second Amendment a bit farther than the Founding Fathers intended. Here's a shot of a Belgian shepherd, Marie (AKA Diana de Beausijour), armed with a German artillery model Luger. Marie/Diana was the mascot of Paul Stockton, commander of the US Air Service's 12th Aero Squadron during World War I. Marie later appeared in the movies, co-starring with Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson. Tragically, though, she didn't make the transition to the talkies.

The photo appeared in the book 'Animals Aloft',

By Allan Janus, published in 2005 by Bunker Hill Publishing, Inc.

I hope that she wasn't planning on getting a quick divorce from her unfaithful husband.

While attending a gun show with my dad, we came upon a table with a large box full of puppies. The sign said "free puppy with every case of ammo". It got us thinking, on the way home, mom's been wanting a dog. We stopped at the Humane Society and adopted a German Shepherd pup. We named her Erma.
