I have an opportunity to pick up a really nice all-matching Tula-made 1942 SVT 40.
A buddy of mine from work wants to sell it. He said he picked it up around 1985. He never shoots it and his wife says it has to go. (He's got a Russian-capture P38 I'm angling for as well.) I checked out the gun and it's as nice an example of an SVT as I've ever seen. He says he'll take $500 for the gun and ~100 rounds of what looks like old copper-washed Chinese ammo. It sounds like a great deal to me. What do ya'll think? |
