Default Swiss cleaning kit

Well this was a given one for the Swiss as they had the kit from the 1882 revolver.

But you have to give me this: It is a neat piece of kit!
There is a ridge at the bottom so the stell part wont push through under load.

One thing that i havent been able to figure out is: What is the slid in the brass extension for?
There is a fine jag for tow, so?

Here is a M1900 Swiss Luger with the complete holster and cleaning kit. They do make a very nice package! The yellow tin tube contains lubrication grease - probably enough for the entire unit...

Yeah the Swiss was/it big on Waffenfett. Everyone else uses oil but the Swiss use grease even for barrel cleaning. I have never found out why, grease and dust is a big No-No, then again little dust in the Apls.

And i see yours has some verdigris from the leather bag ;-)
A lemon wedge dipped in salt and a gentle rub will take care of that.
