New to forum; awaiting arrival my 1st P08

Hi.
Although not yet in possesion of a Luger I thought it would be nice to introduce myself here on the forum.

My name is Peet, I'm from The Netherlands (aka Holland) and into guns for 6 years now.
Last week I bought a BYF41 (Mauser) P08 and I'm waiting now, very impatient, for the paperwork to be proccesed. Hope to be able to pick up the gun on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The P08 is not with 'matching numbers' but that's okay with me; I wanted a shooter. And shoot it does; tried it at the gunstore and I was impressed by it's accuracy.

As you can see in my signature; I like the earlier designs of guns and cars.

Have been reading her on the forum for the last 2 weeks or so; I'm impressed with the knowledge concerning Lugers available here. Just 'discovered' the FAQ at the top of this New Collectors Forum; a lot more info to read. Great.

Don's think I can be much of a help solving Luger-problems but hope to post something now and then.
