Thumbs up Magazine Test...

I took my Luger to the shooting range last week with my suped up magazine, with help from GT, I created last year. The magazine features GT's spring and aluminum base, and Robar's NP3 coating. I took along 130 rounds of reloads using bullets that weighed 88 to 147 grains. I suffered only one malfunction, at round 126. That was a little disappointing. I thought for sure I was going to shoot all of them by the time i reached that point. I almost didn't take those last five as they were longer (OAL) than I usually use. A good magazine certainly can make a difference to how a Luger functions!!!

Well that makes sense. If it turns out as good as his magazine spring, it will be a must have for anyone who wants to shoot a Luger...

Default Recoil Spring

Hi:

Yes, I agree, and we do need an intelligently designed and fully tested recoil spring for the Luger.

When the springs aren't just perfectly in balance (recoil and magazine) jams are sure to occur.

Let's all hope that GT finds some time real soon to work on this important little project!!
