Default Rick, SS guns and american articles

Rick how can you take my writings about a commercial product personal, isent that to go a bit to far?

It was the gun I critisized and not you.

My intentions with those writings have never been to hurt you or anybody else.

But all those years when I have been reading american articles in american gun magazines I have had the great impressions that mostly writers are payed by the manufacturers. They only write what the manufacturers wants.

The result of this bull****articles is that quite a lot of people in the world actually belives Jan Liborel when he states that Colt Gold Cup is state of the art.

How should new shooters and collectors know what is good and what is bad and avoid to get cheatend if everybody just is saying nice words about all guns that exist just to cheat people?

I will always write what I think and belives in about guns, and my recomendation to you is actually to read what i write and not get anything else out of it.

So my recomendation to you guys that wants a nice luger without being afraid to destroy somehting old and valuable, buy yourself a nonmatching shooter.

It doenst cost more than a SS luger and its built to last.

Best Regards HÃ?Â¥kan

Hey come on guys! Lets all sit back for a moment, take a sip from our favorite beverage and relax. This is a good forum and I have enjoyed discussions from both of you gentlemen. I have heard both sides and each have valid points. While I am sticking to my view, I personally don't want to see either of you leave. Lets just let this stainless steel bear hybernate. Peace brothers.

Opinions are like certain body parts in that everyone has one. I don't think the forum needs any more opinions on the pros and cons of the stainless steel Lugers. If you like them there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and if you don't like them it is fine to express your opinion, but there comes a time to let it rest. It is time the opinions on the stainless steel Lugers faded away.

Default Tell me again why I can't express my opinion!!!

I think this forum offers all to say what they want to say. I don't think anyone elected you as hall monitor. Therefore, my opinion is that if one believes the a certain item is worth while, then to them it is. I think everyone has there own ideas and to have someone try shut them down is absolutely wrong - Johnny - For what's it's worth.

Default Frank, you're over the line...

your comments to Johnny are a personal attack. What Johnny said is exactly what I would have said, but I've been absent for a bit. The discussion on the Stainless Steel Lugers while interesting at first has now grown old, and it's time to let it it rest, because like the topic of collectible vs. shooter there can be no winner, and the discussion just goes 'round and 'round with tempers flaring and feelings injured all around. If "you all" are spoilin' for a good fight, take it over to Gun & Knife, don't do it here. Please re-read my epistle on Forum Decorum.

Default HÃ?Â¥kan, your position has been noted...

I think you need to let it rest for now.
