or anyone else! Remember you MUST open the section above the main screen that says "my profile" to see your private message replys. MANY folks send me private messages and I respond ALMOST ALWAYS in just a few hours! BUT, I get the message that many are left UNREAD, so the originator of the question or message MUST think I have never replied to them, when in reality I have. RIGHT NOW I have replied to John D, kenfromalaska, John F,conchojack, markm3 that have remained unread (or so it says on my profile page). Please check your profiles to see my replies, otherwise the communications simply stop and that is not good for any involved! I think what happens is many simply think the message reply will magically appear when they are the forum. IT WILL NOT, you must open your profile to see any replys! Thanks guys

Except.... if they request an e-mail notification, then they have read the answer from Thor and yet the profile and the sender doesn't know that you have read it.

So, I usually drop into my profile during the day and if there is a new message, even if I have read it, I click on it, so the sender knows I have read it...

A very good point - I get email notification and read that which means that I often forget to go to my profile to look at the messages there. I'll make a point of doing so from now on (By the way, thank you for the quick reply Thor.)
