Post Jan Stills Books?

Anybody know who has any of the Still Luger books in stock? Told the wife I wanted Third Riech Lugers or Axis Pistols for Christmas but apparently he is out of stock. Thx and Happy Holidays, ESU.

I got a copy of Axis Pistols from Simpson Ltd a while ago and I think that they had the others in stock then. Worth a try, I guess. The site is:

Here's a great site to search for books. I used "Jan Still" in the Author block and got 24 "hits".

Give a call to Bob Adams at (505) 255-6868. Bob lives in Albuquerque, NM and I think he has them in stock. I also think his price is about $59 each. Bob is a real nice guy to deal with.

I think you'll find that prices vary according to edition and binding and even the dealer involved. "Special Editions", "Limited Editions", first editions. long out-of-print and signed editions generally command premium prices. "Trade" editions are usually quite reasonable. I generally check several sites before ordering and I've seen extreme differences in prices between dealers. A little time looking can save substantial dollars. FWIW.

When I ordered my copies of Imperial Lugers, and Third Reich Lugers from Ralph, he didn't have any more copies of Weimar Lugers left in stock.

Just thought you should know,...

Best Regards, Brandon

In GUNLIST magazine there is a bookstore called GUNCRAFT BOOKS (800-966-4538). It lists Stills Imperial Lugers for $52.95 and Kenyons Lugers at Random for $53.95. No mention of Stills other books. But its an 800 telephone number so there's nothing to lose.

I get most of my books from www.Amazon.com. Fast and efficient. The prices are about average. They will backorder for you and sometimes they will have secondhand copies of the title for very reasonable prices.
