If anybody has broken a part on their Luger during shooting and hasn't mentioned it yet, now's the time. So far 12 Forum members have responded, and the current list follows. After this weekend I am going to do a final tally and send the list on to Ed Tinker for the FAQ.
If you have broken a part on your Luger during shooting, or have first-hand knowledge of a non-forum member who has, please post the information here or send it to me by private message -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8 ejector 6 takedown spring 3 rear axle pin 2 extractor 2 firing pin 2 holdopen spring 1 holdopen 1 grip safety spring 1 trigger lever pin 1 rear toggle piece 1 upper receiver 1 breechblock |

2 ejectors, MY FAULT, early in the Luger experience, youthful excitement and hot handloads proved a bad mix for my old LUGER! Thor confesses <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" />

I once had an old model come in here with a broken main spring, the old leaf type.

FYI
Was once offered a .30, 1923 Safe/Loaded, that had a piece broken off the rear of the breechblock Metal appeared to be crystalized. Barely enough metal left to loosely secure the firing pin retainer. Dont remember the serial #. Ken D |

I got my beautiful new grips from Hugh the other day. I have other projects going so not until tonight did I sit down with the luger. Selected a properly sized screwdriver and broke half the head off a grip screw! Who has these?
