hello all
this seems to be a vast ammount of luger knowledge here. i am relatively new to this.. im wondering if there is someway that i can find out the origins of a luger with its serial no. Is there some one to contact with this info? any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks.. |

Need toggle codes/date marking, proofing, barrel link and the full range serial, example serial "1234 a" would only be shown as 1X34 a to protect the owner (dont give out the full serial, just the range and subscript block (like the "a") if any! See the Luger ID sheets located in the Technical information section. There is a lot of information requested that will help identify your type of Luger, when and where it was made. Unless it has other unit markings it can be almost impossible to know where it has been. Proof marks and stampings are a big help! Additional items such as accompanying magazines (and markings) additonal items such as relieved sear bars, sear safetys, magazine safetys, etc also help know what your Luger may have been through and some of the issuance locations it may have been.
