Jeepster99,
I have heard stories about a Luger owner tracing down the original soldier and his family. But the gentleman had unit marks on the straps of the Luger to help him. The search must have been tremendous and the gentleman had to go to Germany to do his research. He succeeded and gave the gun to the family. Class act. You have the name. Depending on the name (if its a common name or not), that might help. But it will be tough. Maybe Germany has a search engine version of GOOGLE. Good Luck. Big Norm |
