I picked up my 2nd luger, a 1940 dated Banner with matching # even on the grips. It has what looks to be a new plastic bottom mag and even came with a marked dla43 holster that I think is for a High Power. It's been reblued but what a great job they did! Overall I would say in excellant condition.Oh, and I paid less than $600.00 for it .Did I do good?

Yes, you did fine, a "shooter" goes from $450 to $600, you see them cheaper, but not often. So say you paid even $500 dollar gun bought on-line, plus transfer fee means maybe you paid a bit much, not counting the holster, but if you are happy with it??? So, I don't know how much the holster goes for, maybe $50? Depends on condition and what type of gun really goes in it.

A nicely refinished shooter with all matching numbers for less than $600 with a holster that you can sell? I would say you did GOOD.
Enjoy shooting that Mauser!
