Post S/42 Luger.......

I went into World of Lugers, found some I was interested in,and emailed Ralph Shattuck. They were all sold, but he had found one I might be interested in. He had a S/42,1937 Nazi Luger, excellent bore, nice bluing and close to matching numbers.I sent the money and received the S/42 on May 28th. It was a beauty!! Nice Luger and a shooter too! Functioned flawlessly. I would post pics, but my "cheap" digital does not take good closeups. This Luger was bought sight unseen, but it came from a seasoned dealer,Ralph Shattuck! He will get my business in the future,if and when I decide to get a few more.Thanks. Dan

GREAT !!

Always nice when you get a new gun, and especially if you are happy!

Ralph's a good guy, I've bought just the one from him, but he has treated me very nice, both times I went to his house.

I'd like to add my 2 cents on Mr. Shattuck- I bought a K date from him (also sight-unseen) and he sold me exactly what he said he was selling. It's a pleasure to deal w/honest, straight fwd folks for a change- especially over the net.

Just curious, what was not numbered to the gun?

Also wondered how do you contact him? Do you have to belong to something or anything? I will be looking for a 1938 S/42 in the future and thought about trying him. Thanks <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
