A consecutive numbered pair of KU Lugers!
Here are pics of a consecutively numbered pair of KU Lugers. The first one is 1833ku and is a 41 byf. It is all matching except for the mag and has original finish. This gun belongs to Jim Newman and was bought from the vet that brought it back.
The second one is 1834ku and is a 1938 byf. It is an East German VOPO rework and has all matching parts including the mag. This gun belongs to me and was bought on the internet.

Nice, I would love to see the exact same lighting and background to compare the two, but this is very interesting just as it is!

Hi Hugh,
Nice stuff. Adding more to the puzzle... Does Jim have any background info on the vet who brought it back (as in where he acquired it?) |

Gerben,
Jim got it about 3 1/2 yrs ago from the deceased vets family (doesn't remember the family's name)and has no info on the history of it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
