There's a nice two-page writeup on The Luger Pistol by Ian McCollum in the "Exploded View" column of the March 2017 magazine, starting on p. 74.
He also makes a point of noting that the upper will fire a loaded cartridge even after it is removed from the frame.

Just got my March AR today, looked at the two-page 'article'. Curious that the first pic is of a Luger with a grip safety and no stock lug, but the illustrated breakdown has no grip safety and a stock lug...
![]() It's also somewhat curious that the Official NRA Guide To Firearms Assembly has had the Luger breakdown since Pontius was a navigator...Why bring out another one??? ![]() I do note that they show the correct handgrip to remove the takedown lever. Same as the original German manual. ![]() The 'original' James Triggs AR disassembly writeup on the Luger was longer, has more illustrations, and has a 1/3 page on the Luger magazine as well.
