Default Norm's Rareties, #1.

I'm in the process of cataloging my collection and I thought forum members might like to see some of the rarer items. If there is interest I'll continue this as a series.
This beautiful holster for an Imperial Navy Luger was made by the Hermann H. Heiser Saddlery Co. of Denver, Colorado. They were in business from 1858 to 1955 and the triple H makers mark on the back of the holster was in use from 1910 to 1925.

Nice Heiser holster. The pencil marks on the back are original also. Want to see more. Bill

I agree Norm, love to see your collection!

Wow, pretty holster, I like these Heiser holsters, you don't see them too often in such nice shape or design.

Norm, how did you figure out the years of production of this holster?

Ed

Hi Ed,
The brass and black enamel triple H snap cover was discontinued in the 1930's, but the distinctive triple H makers mark on the back was only used from 1910 to 1925.
Best regards, Norm
