My condolences. This Is My Third Marriage! I lost everything on my second! Debby saved me! My second wanted to pull my plug while suffering a stroke and coma in Punta Rainus, Costa Rica! It was actually the result of falling stiking the back of my head causing a 'Subdural Hematoma or bleeding on the brain causing permanent brain damage. I to this day I have weakness on my left! There is a 90% mortality rate for this kind of injury. Today my only residual is short term memory.I had $200,000 in life insurance and my ex-wife would have pulled my plug!. Debby flew down posed as my wife and stayed with me daily. She made the 2 hour trip daily from our vacation home in Jaco Beach on the pacific to Punta Rainus. The only hospital with CT scan. Last Rights were already given in both Spanish and English! Debbie did her research an hooked me up to my Sony Walkman playing my favorites from an earlier happy time. After 2 weeks Debbie saw my fingers moving to the music. I eventually opened my eyes. After 6 weeks I was well enough to fly home on an air ambulance. She borrowed 12k to pay to bring me back. And then 4 in a rehab facility. I relearned to pray!! Prayers and love healed me! Lugers filled in what had been wasted! My best rehab has been with you!! All of your friendship restored an empty part of my prior life! Beware of life insurance beneficiaries~ Thank you all and my wife Debby most of all! I needed to explain why I am so forgetful for a former attorney! Eric

Awesome and a good comparison! You have been a tutor and my mentor for the last twelve years. Your patience with all my rambling is blessed. You have been there whenever I had any matter and you were always available. I have been your Test Luger Hunter as you keep a meticulous and always accurate record of Test Lugers and that important information always available on site. I found a home and family here that always treated me with respect and patience. There are no similar sites anywhere! I am strongly devoted to lugers and and much more, Friendship! That can't be bought or faked or reblued!!! Eric

How are they different?

The 1907 is the .45 caliber model for the 1907 US Test Trials which lost out to Colt. The example shown is one of the Krausewerke reproductions copied from one of the two known surviving guns that were not involved in the actual test.

The 1913 Model is one of the last of the pre-WWI Commercial models, which featured a stock lug. Actually there were two models, one with grip safety (the so-called 1913 Commercial) and one without (the so-called 1914 Commercial but actually produced in late 1913)

Nice job by both Eric and Ron with their Luger "Type Sets".

Eric's is akin to the showing the difference between Dollars, Half Dollars, Quarters, 20-cent pieces, Dimes, Nickels, etc.

Ron's is more like a Quarter Type Set showing Bust, Liberty Seated, Barber, Liberty Standing, Washington, etc.

Nice job gentlemen!
